Vocals 3.0 for Soundbox marks an important moment for Cinematic Alpha.
With this release, we bring together the best of Cinevox and Vocals, completely redesigned for Audiomodern Soundbox to create a deeper, more expressive, and more cinematic vocal experience.
But Vocals 3.0 is more than a new library. It is the closing of a chapter.
For years, Cinematic Alpha has created sample libraries for composers, producers, and sound designers. It has been a beautiful, intense, and meaningful journey. These sounds have become part of many musical projects, film productions, video games, trailers, and personal works around the world.
Now, with Vocals 3.0, we close our traditional sample library chapter and begin a new path.
It Started with Voices. It Ends with Voices.
The first version of Vocals was one of the libraries that helped define the early identity of Cinematic Alpha.
It was designed to offer vocal textures that felt human, mysterious, fragile, and cinematic.
One of the most meaningful memories connected to the original Vocals library is its use by Iván Martínez Lacámara, composer of Money Heist, during Season 4 and Season 5.
For this reason, ending this chapter with voices feels natural.
A New Vocal Experience for Soundbox
Vocals 3.0 is not just a simple update.
It has been redesigned for Soundbox as a more flexible and immediate creative instrument, giving users the possibility to shape the sound in a more personal way.
The library includes:
- 91 Sound Sources
- 143 Presets
- 4 Vocal Characters: Amnesia, Kate, Laura, Jada
- Spooky Pads
- Vowels
- Adlibs
- Dark Cinematic Vocal Textures
- 988 Samples
- FLAC and Uncompressed WAV formats
It is designed for modern scoring, horror, mystery, ambient music, trailers, emotional scenes, and experimental sound design.

Beyond Ordinary Samples
This release also represents a change in direction.
Cinematic Alpha will now focus less on ordinary sample libraries and more on integrated technologies, immersive instruments, and creative tools designed to support composers during the musical process.
This includes the return of Genealogy Player, a project created to explore a deeper relationship between sound, structure, and composition.

It also includes the continued development of Spark 2, still in progress, but already part of Cinematic Alpha’s vision for the future: proprietary tools, more advanced sound manipulation, and new creative systems designed for modern composers and sound designers.

At the same time, this does not necessarily mean the complete end of future Soundbox libraries. The creation of new libraries for Audiomodern Soundbox will probably continue under Genealogy Audio, allowing Cinematic Alpha to focus on its next generation of integrated technologies while keeping a dedicated space for future sound library releases.
The next chapter is not about producing more of the same.
It is about building technologies that help music evolve.
The Human Element
A library is still a tool.
What truly matters is the music, the emotion, and the human intention behind it.
In a time where artificial intelligence is becoming part of almost every creative conversation, Cinematic Alpha continues to believe that creativity must remain deeply human.
Artificial intelligence has no soul.
Human memory, instinct, love, pain, and imagination remain irreplaceable.
Vocals 3.0 carries that idea inside its sound: intimate, dark, fragile, imperfect, and human.
Thank You
To everyone who has supported Cinematic Alpha over the years, thank you.
